    • KAT RESPITE SERVICES

      “Learning Based Respite.”

      Kitsap Applied Technologies offers a facilities-based respite program that provides services designed to promote skill acquisition and social interaction.  We believe Respite can be more than just recreation. Contact us and find out how we can help promote learning and recreation for your loved one while giving you a break to recharge and attend to the other things you need done.   

      KAT’s Respite Program provides temporary direct care and supervision in a safe facility-based environment.  The service is designed to help meet the needs of the primary caregiver as well as the served individual.  Program activates include: Communication Skills Building; Social Skills Building; Physical Exercise; and Multi-Media Appreciation.

      DATES SERVICE HOURS FEE SCHEDULE
      Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. $22.00/hr. or $5.50 per quarterly hour

      Our program staff specialize in providing services that challenges and supports individual growth.  KAT is reimbursed by the State of Washington one respite hour at $22.00 or $5.50per quarterly hour. The services are provided in a safe and secure environment and can fit the scheduling needs of most people. 

      What Does KAT Respite Services include?

      • Respite Care provides relief for families or other caregivers of people with disabilities.
      • KAT’s Respite workers provide supervision, companionship and personal care services usually provided by the primary caregiver of the disabled adult.
      • Services appropriate to the needs of individuals with dementia related challenges are also provided.
      • Respite Services when you need a break from the demands on your complicated schedule.
      • KAT’s Respite Care Operates Monday and Wednesdays between 12:30 and 3:30.
